Director of Safety, Mallory Corbett

With over 15 years of occupational health and safety experience, much of which has been in a leadership capacity, Mallory's combination of experience and skills lend themselves in a multi-faceted capacity at MVSAM.

She received her Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from the University of Manitoba where she majored in Marketing. After working in sales and marketing roles for several years, Mallory discovered a passion for Occupational Health and Safety. She pursued further education and obtained her certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and later achieved her designation as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional in 2006. While continuing to master the technical skills required to be a competent safety professional, Mallory moved into leading the safety function, and ultimately has worked with several organizations to make safety part of their strategic plan. To supplement her leadership knowledge and develop the breadth of her skill base, Mallory has volunteered as the Vice-Chair on a daycare board for more than three years.
